Draft template notice: This page sets out data-handling practices in line with recognized international privacy principles. South Sudan does not yet have a comprehensive data protection statute; this policy is published as a voluntary good-practice commitment and should be reviewed by legal counsel before final publication.

1. Information We Collect

The A.S.A.A. website collects only the information you voluntarily provide, such as through the Contact form, the Grievance Reporting form, or an Access to Information request. This may include your name, email address, phone number, and the content of your message. We do not require account creation or login to use this site.

2. Cookies

This site uses only essential cookies required for core functionality (such as remembering your dark-mode and accessibility preferences, stored locally in your browser). We do not currently use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. If that changes, this policy and the cookie consent banner will be updated accordingly.

3. How We Use Your Information

Information submitted through forms is used solely to respond to your inquiry, process your request, or route your grievance to the appropriate department. We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information to third parties.

4. Data Retention

Submitted information is retained only as long as necessary to address your request and to maintain a public record of administrative correspondence, consistent with the Republic of South Sudan's Right of Access to Information Act, 2013 (Act No. 65 of 2013).

5. Your Rights

Under Article 22 of the Transitional Constitution of the Republic of South Sudan, individuals have a constitutional right to privacy. You may contact the Office of the Chief Administrator to request clarification on what information the Administration holds about you, consistent with the exceptions set out in the Right of Access to Information Act.

6. Third-Party Services

Our contact form is processed by a third-party form service (Formspree). Submitted data passes through their infrastructure subject to their own privacy practices. We recommend reviewing their policy separately if you have concerns about intermediary handling.
