Apply for a permit to legally operate a business within Abyei.

How This Works

  3. 3 Print and fill it out completely by hand.
  4. 4 Bring the completed form and your supporting documents in person to: Ministry of Local Government and Law Enforcement, Abyei Town.

This form cannot be submitted online — South Sudanese civil administrative processes currently require an in-person visit for identity verification and original-document review.

  • Proof of premises (lease agreement or land allocation letter)
  • Applicable permit fee (see office for current schedule)

Permits are typically valid for one calendar year and must be renewed annually. Businesses operating without a valid permit are subject to closure.
