How This Works

  3. 3 Print and fill it out completely by hand.
  4. 4 Bring the completed form and your supporting documents in person to: Civil Registry Office, Office of the Chief Administrator, Abyei Town.

This form cannot be submitted online — South Sudanese civil administrative processes currently require an in-person visit for identity verification and original-document review.

What You'll Need

  • Completed application form (download below)
  • National ID or valid identification for both spouses
  • Two adult witnesses present, with their own ID
  • Customary or religious marriage certificate, if applicable

Both spouses and both witnesses must be physically present at the Civil Registry Office when the completed form is submitted, as signatures are verified in person.
